The objectives of this study are to study the existing community resilience measures in Yobe State to examine the successes and challenges of the existing community resilience measures in the State and c to provide measures for overcoming these challenges. The study adopts control theory and situational crime prevention theory to explain community resilience to Boko Haram insurgency and its preventive measures in the study area. A body of literature on the subject matter has been consulted. Methodologically, the study will be survey research design and the target populations of the study were male and female community members, political leaders, traditional leaders, security agents, media persons, representatives of NGOs and CSOs. A sample size of 156 respondents was selected using cluster and simple random sampling techniques out of which 150 respondents provided quantitative data and the remaining 6 gave qualitative data. The sources of data were primary questionnaire and secondary and the method of data analysis was mixed method. The finding of the study indicated that the existing community resilience measures in Yobe State include the use of civilian JTF to prevent the re occurrence of the insurgency economic empowerment for the victims of the insurgency, special intervention for IDPs as safety net, and collaboration between the communities and the law enforcements. The successes of the existing community resilience measures in the State include more foreign investors coming into the State, reduction in the number of youths joining Boko Haram, emptying of IDPs’ camps, sense of security by the communities, and women and children empowerment in the State. The challenges of existing community resilience measures in the study area include lack of deliberate effort by the government, threats to peace by NGOs, increase in poverty and unemployment in the State, lack of cooperation by security agencies, lack of cooperation by the community members, and lack of community resilience professionalism. The measures for overcoming these challenges are deliberate effort by the government to address the challenges identify NGOs that threaten peace in the State reduction in poverty and unemployment incorporation of all security agencies to end the conflict and emphasis on IDPs. A great influx of international students has been arriving in the United States to study in American colleges and universities. As a result, classrooms have been marked by substantial ethnic diversity among both students and faculty members. Although learning styles directly affect the ability of students to learn, little is known about appropriate classroom management styles for a culturally diverse classroom environment. The purpose of this exploratory, pilot survey study is to investigate how students of different national origins experience selected classroom management behaviors in an undergraduate business program in a big metropolitan city. Current and former students will respond to questions about how they like group projects, detailed classroom discussions, and questions directed at them from the professor. The results will be presented in the form of descriptive statistics. This research will be limited by the small sample size and the nonrepresentative nature of the sample. A larger and more representative sample of college and university students would enable analysis by means of inferential statistics and generalizable conclusions regarding how students of different genders and diverse national origins respond to different classroom management styles. Solid waste management has emerged as one of the greatest challenges facing environmental protection agencies in developing and under developing countries. The rate of generation of waste over the years was not matched by corresponding waste management efforts. This led to the emergence of improper solid waste disposal around the globe. This study focused on the engineering assessment of solid waste management and solid waste characterization in the study area. The study investigated the efficiency of the current solid waste management practices in the study area while also characterizing the various components of solid wastes. Engineering assessment of solid waste management practices in the university were conducted through the use of questionnaires, conducting oral interviews and executing major field works in order to determine the various components of solid generated, methods of storage, transportation, reduction, disposal, recycle and reuse. Samples were collected from seven random locations so as to determine the average solid waste characterization in the study area. Questionnaires and oral interviews were directed to the solid waste management unit which further explains the results obtained from the field observation of the various components of the solid waste management in the study area. This results from this study presents the current solid waste management practices to be average which was due to the incompetence on the part of workers and equipment employed. Paper, plastic, metals and bottles are the most predominant components of the solid waste generated in the study area which further highlights the main purpose it serves. Artocarpus heterophyllus, commonly called as ”œJackfruit” has utmost importance in tropical and subtropical region. This study has utilized the peel portion of jackfruit in muffins. Peel which is usually discarded is actually rich in nutrients, Vitamin C and plentiful of minerals. Chemical analysis revealed that peel comprises of 5.77 moisture, 1.32 total ash and 0.03 acidity. Apart from this, peel is a rich source of crude fiber that fits well in bakery industry. Present research has utilized peel portion of jackfruit in muffins manufacturing. Along with bakery flour jackfruit peel powder is taken in different ratios ranging from 0 20 .Control sample 0 jackfruit peel powder T0 , 10 peel powder added in total flour T1 , 20 peel powder added in total flour T2 . Out of the three treatments which are prepared T0, T1 and T2. One sample from each treatment is taken and analysed in terms of colour, flavour, texture, aroma and overall acceptability. Data obtained is statistically and graphically analysed and tabulated. This shows that 20 of jackfruit peel stands best in terms of overall acceptability of muffins. Introduction Organ donation is the process when a person allows an organ of their own to be removed and transplanted to another person, legally either by consent while the donor is alive or dead. Common transplantations include kidneys, heart, liver, intestine, lungs, bones, bone marrow, skin and corneas. Many previous studies have indicated that Knowledge and Attitude plays as significant role in rates of organ donation. As per data given by global observatory on organ donation and Transplantation, globally there were around 1.2 lakh solid organs reported to be transplanted in 2015. This accounts for about 20.65 donations per million populations. It was reported that there was an increase in a trend of organ donation of about 5.8 since 2014.Material and method A quantitative descriptive research approach and design was used to assess the knowledge and attitude regarding organ donation among relatives of patients. A total sample of 100 relatives of patients was taken through the non probability purposive sampling technique. Self structured questionnaire was used for collection of data. Data collected is analyzed with descriptive statistics.Results Findings of the study revealed that out of 100 relatives of patients, 2 have excellent level of knowledge, 54 have good and 44 have average level of knowledge. Whereas, 21 relatives of patients have favorable attitude and 79 have moderately favorable.Conclusion On the basis of results of data analysis following conclusion was found. The present study revealed that 2 relatives of patients have excellent level of knowledge, 54 have good level of knowledge whereas 44 have average level of knowledge. Regarding attitude, present study revealed that 29 relatives have favorable level of attitude, 71 have moderately favorable level of attitude and no have unfavorable level of attitude. M sand also called artificial sand or crushed sand, the prepared by crushing rocks, stones, or larger aggregates into small size particles in the quarry. The study is aimed at the complete replacement of conventional material like river sand used as fine aggregate. By using M sand manufactured sand crushed sand . M sand here acts as a fine aggregate in the cement concrete. The experiment is carried out by finding the value of slump, compressive strength, and split tensile strength. Natural fine aggregate is replaced by M sand to complete mix proportion in the concrete. M sand shares similar properties as conventional Fine Aggregates and gives good split tensile and compressive strength to the concrete. The results are compared with the control mix of design mix M30. The specimens are tested after 7 days and 28 days of curing. Complete replacement of fine aggregate with manufactured sand concrete makes the cost of construction can be controlled. Strength, workability, and durability test also studied. Compressive strength is the most important property of concrete it is also increasing. Complete replacement of fine aggregate with crushed sand production of concrete increasing. It is dust free in M sand which is a good sign to do the replacement. Learning is the process of acquiring new understanding, knowledge, behaviours, skills, values, attitudes and preference. An experimental study was conducted to compare the effectiveness of concept mapping and mind mapping on perception among B.Sc. Nursing students at selected college. A true experimental research design was adopted for the study. The study was carried out with two groups that who fulfilled the inclusion criteria. A total of 60 samples in which 30 samples were allotted to group 1 and 30 samples were allotted to group 2 using simple random sampling technique. Modified Ingleton questionnaire was used to assess the level of perception regarding concept mapping and mind mapping. After pre test, Group I received concept mapping as a teaching strategy and Group II received mind mapping as a teaching strategy daily for one week. Post test was conducted after one week with the same tool. The analysis revealed that, in Group I, the mean level of perception had increased from 20 to 38 and standard deviation was decreased from 6 to 3. The paired t test value of 15 was very highly significant at p 0.001which indicates the effectiveness of concept mapping on level of perception among B.Sc. Nursing students. In Group II, the mean level of perception had increased from 19 to 40 and standard deviation was decreased from 7 to 4. The paired t test value of 14 was very highly significant at p 0.001 which indicates the effectiveness of mind mapping on level of perception among B.Sc. Nursing students. The Independent t test value of 2.9031 was not significant at p 0.05. It indicates that there was no significant difference between concept mapping and mind mapping on level of perception. A table of specification is fundamental in a test construction. The use of table of specifications when construction a teacher made achievement test and standardized test is very essential, because it will make the test valid and reliable. Unfortunately, because of lack of inadequate training on its use, it is usually not used by many teachers when constructing a test. Diabetic retinopathy is the disease that affects diabetics the most often DR . The duration of the disease, ineffective control of blood sugar, and the presence of hypertensive are the key causes. Yet, large inter individual differences in risk indicate that other factors, like as genetic inheritance or insulin variability, are critical in explaining susceptibility to DR development. It is also important to recognise that DR can predict both microvascular and macrovascular issues independently. Hence, DR needs to be factored in when determining the cardiovascular risk of a diabetic. Even if dementia is becoming more prevalent in people with type 2 diabetes, evaluating retina neurodegeneration could help in spotting those at risk. This study examined the relationship between corporate social responsibility and value creation of quoted oil and gas firms in Nigeria for a period of fourteen 14 years spanning from 2008 to 2021. Specifically, this study examined the relationship between occupational health and safety responsibility, emissions responsibility, employment responsibility and cash value added. Panel data were used in this study, which were obtained from the annual reports and accounts of the ten 10 sampled firms. Ex Post Facto research design was employed. Descriptive statistics of the dataset from the sampled firms was employed to summarily describe the mean, standard deviation, minimum and maximum values of the data for the study variables. Inferential statistics using Pearson correlation coefficient and Panel least square regression analysis were employed to test the hypotheses of the study. The results showed that there is a significant and positive relationship between occupational health and safety responsibility and cash value added ß1=1.930842 p value = 0.0006 a significant and positive relationship between emissions responsibility and cash value added ß2=0.575137 p value = 0.0116 a significant and positive relationship between employment responsibility and cash value added ß3=.0.075661 p value = 0.0000 of quoted oil and gas firms in Nigeria at 5 level of significance respectively. The study was undertaken to check the various parameter tests of sensory evaluation, antioxidant activity, microbial analysis and cost analysis of Pomegranate Ice Cream. The test of parameters was done of prepared ice cream after the freezing process. The present study is based upon the determining and collection of sensory evaluation, antioxidant activity, microbial analysis of various parameters. Pomegranates are rich in antioxidants and vitamins. Pomegranate also reduces the growth of cancer cells. Pomegranate is one of top heart friendly fruits. Pomegranate ice cream is a healthy dessert without any addition of preservatives to it. Icecreams are poor in polyunsaturated fatty acids and phenolics. By adding Pomegranate juice to the icecream it will increase the quantity of fatty acids and phenolics in it. By this the Icecream will become antioxidant and antidiabetic. 3 Types of Ice Creams were made. The study of noodles from sorghum flour, rice flour, and, Moringa oleifera leaf powder development was carried out at the Department of Food Technology, Parul Institute of Applied Sciences, Parul University, Vadodara Gujarat, India. The cereal grain sorghum has a number of agronomic benefits, contains substances that are good for your health, and is gluten free. One of the most beneficial tropical trees is Moringa Oleifera, which offers vital nutrients and antioxidants to treat vitamin and mineral deficiencies, support a healthy cardiovascular system, help to promote normal blood sugar levels, neutralize free radicals, improve eyesight, mental clarity, and bone strength, and may be helpful in cases of malnutrition, general weakness, lactating mothers, menopause, depression, and osteoporosis. Moringa is a multi beneficial plant with high nutritional value, making it an excellent protein supplement for malnutrition and animal feed. Although Moringa oleifera leaves are high in nutrients, the addition of saponins may increase the bitter taste and unpleasant smell. This study set out to create noodles using moringa leaf powder, sorghum flour, and rice flour and to assess their sensory acceptance, antinutritional content and proximate composition. The findings revealed in moisture 7.62 , total ash 5.48 , protein 6.80 , fat 1.86 , carbohydrate 78.24 , energy 358.9 , calcium 242.4 Ca , and potassium 353.5 content, the total number of E. coli 0157, and coli form. In order to guarantee global food security and meet nutritional needs, the concentration of moringa plant powder must be limited. Moringa Oleifera leaves powder affected, macronutrient, and minerals content in wet noodle products. It is recommended that concentrations of 5 , 10 , and 15 should not exceed 5 because it affects the organoleptic of the product. In order to better understand the current situation and plan for its future use, the current research examines the seasonal fluctuations in some significant physico chemical parameters and biological investigations of the three rural ponds in Madhepura, Bihar. The data gathered during different seasons summer, winter, and rainy study showed that the studied parameters were within acceptable limits for fish culture and the stocking should be done in accordance with the productivity of the water. Yet, a statistical examination of the data shows that the physicochemical characteristics of certain ponds were responsible for significant environmental benefits. Our study emphasizes the importance of community involvement and effluent disposal education. Our investigation of the ponds BOD shows that they are somewhat polluted, which has to be fixed in the future for higher productivity. The purpose of this study was to investigate the effects of telephones on the provision of community based mental health services in the Northwest and Southwest Regions of Cameroon. The target population of the study consisted of 405 mental health professionals working in the Northwest and Southwest Regions of the country. The study employed the sequential explanatory mixed methods research design. Quantitative data was collected through a questionnaire while a semi structured interview guide and an observational checklist were used to collect qualitative data from a sample of 300 mental health professionals. Questionnaires were completed by 275 participants while 15 participants were interviewed and 10 others were observed in the two Regions. The purposive and convenience sampling techniques were used to select the sample. Data were analyzed with the aid of the Statistical Package for Social Sciences SPSS version 26.0 for Windows. Descriptive statistics and inferential statistics were used to analyze quantitative data while qualitative data was analyzed using content analysis with the support of ATLAS.ti software version 8.0. The findings revealed that telephones r=.741, df=273, p=0.001, far 0.05 , have a positive correlation with the provision of community based mental health services. However, it was observed that inadequate airtime credit for phone calls and messages, poor electricity supply, mental health professionals’ lack of training on telephone use in mental healthcare, and the lack of motivation by mental health practitioners to use telephones for service delivery are limiting factors to telephone use in the provision of community based mental health services. Based on the findings, recommendations were made to mental healthcare trainers, mental health professionals, vulnerable persons affected by mental disorders, the government and other researchers in Cameroon on measures to enhance telephone use and integration in mental healthcare research and practice. This paper discussed four objectives, risk taking, creativity, and innovation that will contribute to the success of intention of university graduates which will help them to embrace entrepreneurship early and become successful in life and be self employed to reduce the cluster of pilling up seeking for a white collar job. This work examined entrepreneurship intention amongst undergraduates of selected universities in Anambra State theoretical framework was based on theory of Plan behaviour. The population of the study was 1929, the sample was determined using Borh and Gall of 1973 to be 371, data was generated by the use of questionnaire and was analysed using table and percentage further multiple regression analysis was conducted to test the hypothesis, multiple regression analysis was also used to access relative predictive power of independent variables on dependent variables. The result shows that Risk taking has a significant positive effect on the intentions of undergraduate students of selected universities in Anambra state. Creativity has a significant positive effect on intentions of undergraduate of selected universities in Anambra state. Innovativeness has a significant positive effect on the intentions of undergraduates of selected universities in Anambra state. The study concluded that with a more positive relationship with entrepreneurship and these variables it has a greater chance of success. Internet and gambling addiction are recognized as serious mental health threats, and excessive Internet use is associated with a range of negative psychosocial consequences. The aim of this review is to identify all previous empirical studies that have used imaging techniques to reveal emerging mental health problems in internet and gambling addiction from a neuroscientific perspective. A systematic literature search was performed and 18 studies were identified. Continuous glucose monitoring system CGMS is an emerging and widely accepted technique for monitoring and management of blood glucose levels. Blood glucose level can be compared with a tennis ball, the way a tennis ball bounces blood sugar also behaves the same going from high to low rapidly. Without having an accurate measurement of the patient’s level of sugar, injecting insulin could pose more of a risk to the patient rather than a benefit by inducing hypoglycemia. A fire fighters life is in constant danger as they attempt to detect and extinguish fires. Every year, a distressing number of firemen worldwide are murdered in on the job fires. Robotics is the result of years of research and development in the field of artificial intelligence. Robots have numerous applications, including industrial and medicine. As a result, robotics can be used to assist firemen in their work and reduce the risk they encounter. The Fire Fighter robot was specifically designed for usage in hazardous areas. After finding the source of the fire, it can be programmed to operate and control itself to extinguish it. To help it avoid obstructions, it features a microcontroller, smoke detectors, and an ultrasonic sensor. The robot fire fighters sensors are used to construct the fire detection system. The robots microcontroller allows it to work independently. Sustainable tourism has become an increasingly popular field of research since the late 1980s. Sustainable tourism development guidelines and management practices are applicable to all forms of tourism in all types of destinations, including mass tourism and the various niche tourism segments. Sustainability principles refer to the environmental, economic, and socio cultural aspects of tourism development, and a suitable balance must be established between these three dimensions to guarantee its long term sustainability. However, the sustainable tourism debate is patchy, disjointed and often flawed with false assumptions and arguments. This paper is a brief critique of some of the weaknesses in the sustainable tourism literature. In particular, it explores six issues that are often overlooked but must be addressed in research the role of tourism demand, the nature of tourism resources, the imperative of intra generational equity, the role of tourism in promoting socio cultural progress, the measurement of sustainability, and forms of sustainable development. Indicators have been identified for all three aspects of sustainable tourism development ecological, economic and social. The study examined the relationship between industrialization and the level of economic growth among nations in Africa from year 2013 to 2019. The study categorized African nations into five top industrialized nations and five least industrialized nations. Economic growth was proxy using Gross Domestic Product GDP and Per capita Gross Domestic Product GDP . Time series data on national GDP, population and level of industrialization were obtained from International Monetary Fund statistical data, the Worldometer and United Nation Industrial Development Organization UNIDO . By deploying the correlation statistics and t test aided by SPSS version 20, the study tested if there was any significant relationship between the mean GDP of the top five industrialized nations and the mean GDP of the least five industrialized nations. It further tested if there was any significance relation between the mean per capita GDP of the top five industrialized nations and the mean per capita GDP of the least five industrialized nations. Findings showed a high correlation between the mean GDP of the top five industrialized nations and the mean GDP of the least five industrialized nations. Again it was found that there is significance relationship between the mean per capita GDP of the top five industrialized nations and the mean per capita GDP of the least five industrialized nations. As both GDP and per capita GDP of both industrialized and least industrialized nations move in the same direction regardless of the level of industrialization, the study concluded that industrialization is yet to a significant relationship between GDP and per capita GDP of African nations. Regrettably, no conclusive data supports the use of inflammatory indicators as a therapeutic intervention for people in transition at this time. The study investigated study habit as a predictor of College of education students’ achievement in Computer science in South East, Nigeria. Two research questions and two null hypotheses guided the study. Correlation research design was adopted for the study. The population of the study was 1,028 Computer science students out of which 510 students drawn using purposive and random sampling techniques were involved in the study. Study Habit Questionnaire SHQ validated by three experts was used as instrument for data collection. The reliability of the instrument SHQ was established using Cronbach Alpha to be 0.80. The data obtained was analyzed using simple and multiple linear regressions. The findings of the study revealed among others that 0.8 of the variance in achievement in Computer science was predicted by students’ study habit. Also, achievement scores in Computer science were significantly predicted by students’ study habit. It was recommended that Colleges of education should organise for students, seminars on how to study effectively study in the postmodern world of today, using most recent advancements in educational technologies. The plant Moringa oleifera is a rich source of bioactive chemicals and antioxidants. The present study was focused to determine the efficiency of two different method used for the extraction of polyphenols present in the leaves of moringa oleifera. The attempt was made to check the efficiency of both methods used for the extraction process such as soxhlet extraction method and maceration and determined the accuracy of both methods by HP TLC, FTIR and UV Visible spectroscopy. Moringa oleifera possesses relatively higher content of polyphenols. Epidemiology research repeatedly shows that eating foods high in phytochemicals, such as fruits, vegetables, and herbs, reduces the prevalence of disease in people. The presence of polyphenolic chemicals is primarily responsible for this advantageous effect. Anus The management of piles has been a common problem for surgeon and proctologist ever since this disease was recognized as separate entity, Sushruta was the first surgeon who described certain para surgical and surgical procedures. The present available treatment measures are oushadha, shastra, kshara and agni karmas. Local external application is described by Sushruta. Hence a clinical study is planned to evaluate and efficacy of ”œSuvarchikadi lepa” in the management of arshas. In this study sample size of 30 patients were selected by simple random sampling methods, in the therapeutic effects are analyzed by using the Subjective parameters like 1 Pain, 2 discomfortness. Objective parameters 1 Pruritis 2 colour changes 3 size of pile mass. The duration of treatment has a 7 days and clinical assessments were done in 3rd 5th and 7th days interval. At the end of the study, the ”œSuvarchikadi lepa” has shown significantly beneficial result in sustainable manner. Candidiasis A disease, which though common yet often neglected, has caused more havoc than reported and with the increase in antimicrobial resistance, antifungal agents that are more effective are to be used. The aim of this work is to identify Candida species causing oral thrush and vaginal candidiasis in Awka, Nigeria and evaluate the effect of Fluconazole and Nystatin in vitro against them. Using standard microbiological tests in identification, 80 samples 43.24 were positive for Candida out of the 185 samples gotten from the study subjects. Candida albicans 55 , C.tropicalis 35 and C.glabrata 10 were isolated from the oral cavity while Candida albicans 35 , C.krusei 31.67 , C.tropicalis 15 , C.dublinensis 8.33 , C.glabrata 5.00 , and C.parapsilosis 5.00 were isolated from the vagina. Fluconazole 50µl and Nystatin 100 Units were employed in the anticandidal sensitivity test using agar well diffusion method. More susceptibility to Nystatin than Fluconazole was recorded. From the oral cavity, C.tropicalis was the most susceptible while C.glabrata and C.parapsilosis were the most susceptible species from the HVS samples. This reveals the increase in isolation of non albicans Candida NAC and their growing resistance to Fluconazole which is commonly used hence the need to employ Nystatin as a first line drug for the treatment of oral thrush and vaginal candidiasis. This study was set out to assess the efficacy of Brain gym program and Body Activated Learning program in improving handwriting performance and postural instability. A total of 180 students of grade 1 6 were screened out using the Handwriting Proficiency Screening Questionnaire, out of which 60 students having Handwriting deficiency were randomly assigned into one of the two intervention groups and a control group. The intervention group participated in the movement based program on a daily basis for 30 minutes for 8 weeks. Students handwriting and posture were assessed using Test of handwriting skill Revised TSH R and New York posture rating scale NYPR respectively pre and post intervention. Within the study handwriting skills especially writing from memory, dictation, and copying and postural alignment significantly improved following Brain Gym and Body Activated Learning program as compared to the control group F 6, 112 = 3.822, p = .0001 effect size f = 0.25 . Body Activated Learning Program was more effective for addressing handwriting skills and postural alignment than Brain Gym program. Since ancient times, agriculture has been one of the most significant economic activity in both the nation and the state of Jammu and Kashmir. It merely refers to the growing of crops. It is also regarded as the foundation of the economy. The majority of the population in the state is directly or indirectly dependent on agriculture, making it an agricultural state. It accounts for almost 60 of state revenue, which adequately explains the states excessive reliance on agriculture. Just 5 of the states land area is suitable for cultivation, and over 92 of it is made up of steep mountains. The study of physiochemical properties of fresh Rosemary leaves powder and also the preparation of tea from standard green tea. Powder of Rosemary leaves is prepared by sun drying for duration of 3 4 hours, followed by grinding into fine particles size. Dried leaves are subjected to proximate analysis. Dried leaf powder reveals a moisture content of 6.41 , total ash at 5.52 , and crude fiber at 25.19 . The physicochemical properties disclose that sorbic acid is absent. This research work is aimed at using Scheffes Third Degree Model for six component mixtures, Scheffes 6,3 to optimize the compressive strength of concrete made through partial replacement of 60 percent of cement with 30 percent of Cassava Peel Ash CPA and 30 percent of Rice Husk Ash RHA . Before now, Nwachukwu and others 2022i has carried out research on the subject matter based on the Scheffes second degree model. Due to the upper hand that the third degree has over the second degree in terms of improved compressive strength, this recent work has become very essential. Through the use of Scheffes Simplex optimization method, the compressive strengths of the present work based on the third degree model were obtained for 112 different mix proportions. Control experiments were also carried out, and the compressive strengths evaluated. The adequacy of the third degree model was confirmed through the use of the Students t test statistics. The highest compressive strength was obtained as 43.75 MPa which is slightly higher than the maximum value obtained by Nwachukwu and others 2022i based on the second degree model. Again, the maximum value is higher than the minimum value specified by the American Concrete Institute ACI , as 20 MPa and also the minimum value specified by ASTM C 39 or ASTM C 469, as 30.75 for good concrete. Aframomum Melegueta Grain of paradise is a perennial herbal plant that is cultivated for its valuable medicinal and pharmacological effects. The study aims to determine the effect of aqueous seeds extract of Aframomum Melegueta on insulin concentration in alloxan induced diabetes in male wistar rats. Twenty five 25 male wistar rats weighing 150g 170g were used in this study. The animals were acclimatized for a period of two 2 weeks, after which they were randomly divided into five 5 groups of five rats each. Group A served as negative control and received feed and water ad libitum, group B served as positive control and received alloxan monohydrate, group C received 120mg of alloxan monohydrate and was treated with 150mg of aqueous seed extract of Aframomum Melegueta, Group D received 120mg of alloxan monohydrate and was treated with 300mg of aqueous seed extract of Aframomum Melegueta and Group E received 120mg of alloxan monohydrate and was treated with 600mg of aqueous seed extract of Aframomum Melegueta. The Administration of the extract last for a period of 21 days and The administration was between the period of 6 am to 8 am every day. Data for blood glucose and insulin concentration, antioxidant activity SOD and CAT were analysed using SPSS version 25 using ANOVA followed by Post Hoc LSD comparison. Values were considered significant at p 0.05. The result showed significant p 0.05 increase in the blood glucose level in groups B, C, D, E compared to group A at Day 0. At day 7, 14, 21 the result showed significant p 0.05 decrease in the treated groups compared to diabetic control group. Insulin level had a significant p 0.05 increase in treated groups compared to diabetic control group. There is significant increase in superoxide dismutase and catalase level in diabetic treated groups when compared to diabetic control group. Introduction Cancer is the uncontrolled growth of abnormal cells in the body which develops when the body”˜s normal mechanism stop working. Chemotherapeutic drugs are agents of choice with powerful chemical to kill the abnormal proliferative growth of abnormal cells in human body. The study examined the Survival of small scale businesses during covid 19 pandemic challenges, impact and strategies in Anambra State. Relevant literature was reviewed. Descriptive research design was adopted. This study was carried out in Anambra, Nigeria. The population of study comprised 7061 register small scale businesses in. Content Validity of instrument was adopted. The researcher used test retest and Cronbach’s alpha was used to verify the internal consistency of each construct in order to achieve reliability of instrument. Mitigating covid 19 pandemic challenges of small business of female household heads through cooperative societies in south east Nigeria was empirically investigated. The population of the study covers 2093 businesses owned by female household heads of cooperative societies in South East, Nigeria ranging from Anambra State, Abia State, Ebonyi State, Enugu State and Imo. Primary source of data was used for the study and statistical test of estimate was done using panel least square model with the aid of e view 12. A total of three hundred and sixty copies of questionnaire were retrieved and used in the data analysis. The findings of the study show that there is a significant and positive relationship between women membership of cooperative societies MWCS , provision of affordable finance PAF , pooling resources together PTTR , cooperative skill acquisition and businesses owned by female household heads. On this note, the study concludes that mitigating covid 19 pandemic challenges has a significant and positive effect on small business of female household heads through cooperative societies in Southeast Nigeria. This study ascertained if effective application of inventory management techniques enhanced operational performance of SMSEs in Anambra State. The objective of the study was to establish the relationship between inventory management techniques an operational performance of Small and Medium Scale Enterprises in Anambra State. Two research questions guided the study and two null hypotheses was tested at 0.05 level of significance. The study used Resource Based Theory view to provide understanding on the variables. A descriptive survey research design was adopted for the study. The population of the study consisted of 483 Managers of Small and Medium Scale Enterprise registered with Anambra States Ministry of Commerce and Trade as at December 2021. A structured questionnaire was used for data collection. The questionnaire was validated by experts. Two research questions guided the study and two null hypotheses was tested at 0.05 level of significance. The study used Resource Based Theory view to provide understanding on the variables. From the correlation, a relationship R value of 0.963 with a coefficient of determination was obtained, showing a positive relationship. The regression analysis equally indicated that a unit increase in the application of the inventory management enhanced operational performance of SMSEs in Anambra State. A day caring for a child with autism spectrum disorder can be challenging and stressful. Caregivers may take the child on various appointments, advocate for the childs educational needs, help the child avoid sensory overload, or deal with unexpected public tantrums. At the end of that long day, it may even be discouraging to learn that the child is unable to sleep and is preventing caregivers from getting the rest they need., face many unique challenges, but are not necessarily forced to lead stressful lives. Research shows that caregivers who use support systems to actively solve problems including their own physical and mental health are more likely than those who withdraw or coping in unhealthy ways have been shown to be much less stressful. It is a well known fact that caregivers who are less stressed are more likely to raise children who are well balanced and less anxious. The sampling method chosen was probabilistic sampling. This research was conducted to determine Service Quality and Price on Consumer Satisfaction, this research uses quantitative methods with causal associative research types. In this study, the population is consumers who use online motorcycle taxis in Medan. The method of taking samples in this study was using an accidental sampling technique of 92 respondents. Data analysis techniques used validity test, reliability test, classic assumption test, multiple linear regression analysis, t test, F test and coefficient of determination R2 using SPSS version 22 application.The results of the t test for the service quality variable t count of 4.348 t table of 1.986 which means that service quality has an effect on customer satisfaction and price variable t count of 0.355 t table of 1.986 which means that price has no effect on customer satisfaction. The purpose of this research is to provide an overview of the quality of leaders, culture and job satisfaction in Indonesia that are not disclosed or deliberately covered up. This research assessed the effectiveness of Strategic Intervention Material for Grade 11 Science at Don Andres Soriano National High School, Toledo City Division. Twenty one students from Grade 11 STEM Academic Strand were the respondents of the study. Quasi experimental method of research particularly the one group pre and post test design with purposive sampling was used in the study. To determine the significant mean difference, a t test was used. The study was designed to assess the status of strategic intervention material as an instructional tool for learning acquisition. The topics of the experiment were the layers of the earth and the continental drift theory. Findings revealed that SIM aided students to obtain higher academic performance in Earth Science. Post data rejected the null hypothesis. Thus, there was a significant difference between the pre test and post test results. The MacArthur Clinical Skills Laboratory MCSL of the University of Port Harcourt UPH was launched in 2011 with limited evaluation undertaken. The awareness and utilization of the lab as well as its perceived effectiveness were assessed. A descriptive cross sectional study design was utilized utilizing structured questionnaires. Participants included 400 600L medical students and doctors in the UPH and its teaching hospital respectively. Frequencies and percentages were used in summary statistics 102 doctors, 55 53.9 females and 47 46.1 males and 127 students, 77 60.6 females and 50 39.4 males respondents. About 32.4 of doctors were not aware of MCSL, 37.7 did not know its location, only 30.4 had made use of it and 40.6 did not know whom it was designed for. About 6.9 of doctors and 11.8 of students were aware of the online MCSL course. About 56.7 of students strongly agreed that their peers were critical to their learning, while 6.3 agreed that the center staff were helpful in aiding their learning. There is a need to create awareness of the presence and usefulness of the UPH MCSL. Obesity is a serious medical condition that affects children and adolescents. It occurs when a child well above the normal weight for his or her age and height. Obesity is particularly troubling because of extra pounds often start children on the path to health problems that were once confined to others such as diabetes, high blood pressure, high cholesterol. Obesity can also lead to poor self esteem and depression. The present research project is ”œA descriptive study to assess knowledge regarding obesity and its prevention among adolescents at selected community area of Patel Nagar, Dehradun with a view to develop an informational booklet.” The objectives of the present study are 1. To assess the knowledge regarding obesity and its prevention among adolescents. 2. To find out the association between the level of knowledge of the adolescents regarding obesity at selected demographic variables. 3. To prepare and develop informational booklet on obesity and its prevention. 60 samples were selected by convenient sampling technique and data were collected using self structured knowledge questionnaires. Result In study level of knowledge based on percentage regarding obesity score depicts that 80 adolescents had moderate knowledge, 7 had adequate knowledge and 13 had inadequate level of knowledge regarding obesity and its prevention. In this paper, we propose a system that combines real time object detection using the YOLOv3 algorithm with audio feedback to assist visually impaired individuals in locating and identifying objects in their surroundings. The YOLOv3 algorithm is a state of the art object detection algorithm that has been used in numerous studies for various applications. Audio feedback has also been studied in previous research as a useful tool for assisting visually impaired individuals. Our proposed system builds on the effectiveness of both these technologies to provide a valuable tool for improving the independence and quality of life of visually impaired individuals. We present the architecture of our proposed system, which includes a YOLOv3 model for object detection and a text to speech engine for providing audio feedback. We also present the results of our experiments, which demonstrate the effectiveness of our system in detecting and identifying objects in real time. Our proposed system can be used in various settings, such as indoor and outdoor environments, and can assist visually impaired individuals in various activities such as the navigation and object identification. This study examined empirically corporate governance committees and financial performance of healthcare companies. The independent variables are remuneration committees and nomination committees and independent variable was proxied with return on equity. The study used Ex Post Facto research design. Regression analysis was employed to test the hypotheses. The result showed that remuneration committee has a negative effect on return on equity, and this effect was statistically significant at 5 level of significance. While nomination committee has a positive effect on return on equity, and this effect was statistically significant at 5 level of significance. It was suggested that the remuneration committee ensure that the appointed board members have an appropriate balance of skills to successfully discharge their duties. Maintenance of pumps is a routine activity carried out in all flow stations in the oil and gas industry, hence, there is a growing concern to optimize its operation to reduce downtime and maximize productivity. To this end, this study aimed at evaluating the effectiveness of parameter indices as indicators in Condition Based Monitoring CBM of centrifugal pump bearing. Leading output indicators that interface with the maintenance schedule and procedure were evaluated. These indicators establish the current state of the plant and identify what parameters activity is responsible for a noted trend. The relationship between the pump maintenance procedure and the state of the centrifugal pump was established using vibration analysis. This was achieved by using the Fast Fourier Transform FFT technique and validated using the Genetic Algorithm GA method. The result of the study shows that at the current operating condition of the flow station, failure in the pump is expected after 9480 hours of operation, and this failure is due to subsurface fatigue, and coupling damage. A model and chart were developed which is instructive in scheduling maintenance operations to avoid an unnecessary halt in the production line due to the failure of a component. The study concludes that the use of parameter indicators is a necessary guide in positioning a production line manufacturing plant for effective condition based monitoring. The objective of this project is to create and implement a security system based on fingerprint recognition and GSM GPRS technology that can be utilized in various settings, such as offices, homes, and banks. The system ensures that only authorized individuals are granted access to secure entry and exit points. Fingerprint recognition and GSM GPRS technology are utilized in this security system, enabling the lock to open only if the individual scanning their fingerprint is authenticated. Furthermore, when a fingerprint is scanned, the system captures an image of the person, which is then sent to a registered email address. Additionally, a message is sent to a registered mobile number using GSM technology. Email access is facilitated by GPRS technology. In the event that an unauthorized individual attempts to scan their fingerprint, a buzzer will sound, alerting the authorities that an unknown person is attempting to gain access. A photograph of the individual is then captured and sent to the registered email address, and a message is sent to the registered mobile number. Biometric technology and the security system offer numerous benefits over traditional systems. The Department of Food Technology, Parul Institute of Applied Sciences, Parul University, Vadodara, Gujarat, conducted the nachos study. This study demonstrates the health advantages of drumsticks, and its main objective is to create nachos that can be enjoyed by people of all ages using the same ingredients. Drumsticks contain a lot of vitamins and have antioxidant effects. For the creation of Nachos, three formulations with a control sample were created. Drumsticks were used to make nachos, they were first boiled, then chopped up, blended into a paste, and then added to boiling water with salt, baking soda, quinoa flour, and rice flour. Garlic powder, black pepper powder, and spices like chili powder for improved taste and flavor, nachos were additionally seasoned with onion powder, chat masala, and mix herbs. During the creation of the dough, different amounts of drumstick paste 20 , 30 , and 40 were added. The dough was first made into tortillas, and then it was further fried. To manufacture nachos, different formulations were prepared. The developed nachos underwent additional testing for microbiological analysis, physio chemical characteristics, and sensory evaluation. The nachos had an energy value of 534.27kcal, 2.08 moisture content, 4.84 ash content, 6.91 protein content, 53.78 carbs content, and 2.08 fat content. The study examined the effect of external reserves on economic growth in Nigeria. The study disaggregated external reserve variables into external reserve stock, capital account balance, current account balance and cost of holding reserves. Economic growth was captured as the Gross Domestic Product growth rate. The data were generated from the CBN Statistical Bulletin and World Bank Group World Development Indicators, for a period of 35 years spanning 1987 to 2021. The regression model for the study was analysed using the Autoregressive Distributive Lag, which was found as most suitable using the Augmented Dicker Fuller Unit root tests. The results showed that there is no significant long run relationship between external reserves and economic growth in Nigeria and that the model explained about 71 of the short run factors that impact economic growth within the deregulated Nigeria economy. It was also discovered that economic growth has an endogenous effect on the model of external reserve strategies for economic growth. The regression results for the specific objectives and hypotheses testing revealed that 1 external reserve stock has a significant oscillatory short run effects on economic growth in Nigeria which was positive at lag 2 period and then negative in subsequent lag 3 year 2 capital account balance has a positive but no significant short run effect on economic growth in Nigeria 3 Current account balance has significant and short run positive effect on economic growth in the initial period but no effect in subsequent years and 4 Cost of reserve has significant and positive short run effect on economic growth in Nigeria. The study concluded that external reserves have not been an effective driver of Nigerian economic growth within the deregulated economy era. Based on the findings of the study it was recommended among others that government should increase her external reserve stock to enhance the growth of Nigerian economy, by increasing the export through diversification and exploration of new markets for Nigerian export products. Student Teams Achievement Division STAD is one of the strategies under the cooperative learning model where students in heterogenous grouping learn together, are assessed individually, and scores are added together, contributing to the teams performance. This study determined its effectiveness in improving the conceptual learning of Grade 12 Accountancy, Business and Management ABM students of Agusan del Sur National High School on intermolecular forces IMFs . This action research followed a quasi experimental mixed methods design where 93 students in two sections were assigned as experimental and control groups. Pretest and posttest scores and students perceptions were obtained. The results show that students taught using STAD have significantly higher posttest scores than those in the lecture method p 0.05 . Students also conveyed that the strategy helped them learn the topic by interacting with their groupmates and becoming more motivated to learn throughout the activity. On the other hand, some challenges identified by the participants include groupmates learning at a different pace, time restrictions, and negative feelings towards group activities. It is concluded that STAD can effectively aid in learning the IMFs. It is recommended that the strategy be utilized in other topics and disciplines and tested further for effectiveness. Jean Ailyn O. Nurses are people who need self assessment to maintain and improve their practice by identifying their strengths and weakness in the areas that may need to be further develop ed.Medication errors are the most prevalent medical errors that threaten the patient’s safety. It is essential to implement the selected teaching strategies to the B.Sc. N IV year students to reduce the complication. A study was conducted to assess the effectiveness of selected teaching strategies on knowledge regarding drug calculation among the B.Sc. N students in selected nursing college at Chennai. A one group pre test and post test pre experimental research design was adopted for the study and 30 B.Sc. Nursing IV year students were selected using simple random sampling technique.Semi structured questionnaires is a standardized tool, was used to assess the effectiveness of knowledge regarding drug calculation among the B.Sc. N students for the duration of 30 minutes with the video clip and black board demonstration. Accidents and injuries are increasing and growing health problems in construction work places, especially in the developing countries, and they often lead to death and disability. This study focuses to determine the knowledge, attitude and practice of workers towards accident and injury prevention and control, at Haddock Engineering and Construction Company in Madobi Local Government Area, Kano State, Nigeria. A total of 120 subjects were interviewed with the use of questionnaires. The mean age of the subjects was 30.73±8.4. About 50.8 of the workers interviewed had less than 5 years working experience while 15 had above 10 years working experience. When questioned about knowledge of accident and injury prevention measures, 55.8 of the workers was aware of the prevention measures while 44.2 were not aware. Also 44.2 of the workers used personal protective devices while 55.8 did not use personal protective devices. Face masks was the most common personal protective device worn by 45.8 of the workers. Other devices worn include hand gloves, goggles and helmets. About 55.8 of the workers reported having experienced minor injuries at work place while 19.2 reported severe injuries. This study examined the Growing Need of corporate attributes and Timeliness of Financial Reporting in Nigeria. Cross sectional data was sourced from financial statement of quoted banks. Number of days was modelled as a function of total assets, influence of industry sector, size of audit firm, profitability and number of employees. After cross examination of the validity of the pooled effect, fixed effect and the random effect, the study accepts the fixed effect model. The result found that profitability and influence of industry sector have positive relationship with timeliness of financial report of the selected bank. The panel unit root proved that the variables are stationary at first difference while the causality test found one unidirectional relationship with size of audit firm to timeliness of financial reporting. From the regression summary, the study concludes that corporate attributes have significant relationship with timeliness of financial reports. We recommend that corporate attributes that affect negative timeliness of financial reporting should be discouraged or properly managed and factors that enhance timeliness of financial reporting should be encouraged. This research work focused on the relationship between Window Dressing accounting and quality of Corporate Reporting of Quoted Banks in Nigeria. Off statement of financial position financing, window dressing, are used as dimensions of window dressing accounting while relevance and faithful representation are used to measure quality of corporate reporting. The study applied ex post facto research design. Two research questions were raised for the study and two hypotheses were formulated. The statistical package for social science SPSS is used to test the hypotheses. The result showed that there is positive and correlative relationship between window dressing of accounts and quality of Corporate Reporting of Quoted Banks in Nigeria. The study therefore, among others, recommended that there should be one set of global financial reporting standard by all operators of financial statements which must be effectively monitored. This study aimed to determine the effectiveness of integrating Transdisciplinary Approach in Biology instruction. The study was conducted in a public high school in Carmen, Cebu and employed a quasi experimental method, particularly the pretest posttest design. Respondents were grouped into control and experimental group. Both groups were given a pretest and posttest. The experimental group was exposed to the integration of Transdisciplinary Approach, while the control group underwent the conventional way of teaching. The experimental group completed an attitude survey to assess their attitude toward the intervention. Both the experimental group and control group performed Below Average on the pretest. In the posttest, the performance of the control group was still Below Average. However, the experimental group showed an Average performance in their posttest. The control group showed no significant improvement while the experimental group showed significant improvement in Biology from pretest to posttest. The experimental group manifested Positive attitude towards the use of transdisciplinary approach in their biology class. Based on the findings of this study, the integration of Transdisciplinary Approach was proven to be more effective than the traditional teaching approach in enhancing and improving the biology performance of the students. The researcher recommends that curriculum experts promote and support the integration of transdisciplinary approach in every subject area educational institutions provide trainings on its implementation and develop manuals to properly orient the teachers teachers focus more on pragmatic teaching rather than conventional classes and future researchers carry out similar studies with a broader scope. The aim of the study was to investigate the separate and combined effects of Allium sativum garlic and Zingiber officinale ginger on the parasite levels, liver enzymes, histology and haematological parameters. Fourty two 42 male wistar rats were assigned into seven 7 groups as mentioned below Group 1 served as negative control group and received distilled water, Group 2 served as positive control group and received 0.2ml PB I.P single dose , Group 3 received 0.2ml PB I.P single dose 500 mg kg of allium sativum Group 4 received 0.2ml PB I.P single dose 500 mg kg of zingiber officinale Group 5 received 0.2ml PB I.P single dose 250 mg kg of allium sativum 250 mg kg of zingiber officinale Group 6 received 0.2ml PB I.P single dose artemether Lumefantrine 80 480mg 4mg kg and 8mg kg Group 7 received 0.2ml PB I.P single dose Dihydroartemisini and piperaquine 30mg 225mg 2mg kg and 18mg kg . All administrations were given orally twice daily for a period of 4 days, after 3 days infection period. At the end of the treatment, three 3 male wistar rats per group were sacrificed for the first test. After, 7 days post treatment the second test was done, three 3 male wistar rats per group samples were collected for determination of hematological analysis, parasitemia levels, liver enzymes, and liver histology. Results represented as mean ± SEM were compared using One Way and Repeated measure ANOVA. It was observed that higher percentage of malaria parasitaemia seen in parasitized and untreated wistar rats were reduced in parasitized and treated groups. Allium sativum and Zingiber officinale extracts possesses no lethality in rats at 6000mg kg body weight. Overall, the results suggest that administration of the different extracts were effective in parasite clearance and none toxic. Mental health problems are very common among adolescent. This may be due to the fact that attending family members to a challenging time for many traditional and non traditional among adolescent. Adolescent after completing high school are typically younger, depend on parents for financial support, and do not work or work part time. Thus, in addition to stress related to academic load, these adolescent may have to face the task of taking on more adult like responsibilities without having yet mastered the skills and cognitive maturity of adulthood. I have always been passionate about the sanskrit language and the mysteries that lie behind it. I have for a long time tried to connect sanskrit to science and find a common link between them. While doing some research I came across this fascinating idea of the effect that sanskrit hymns have on the human brainwaves and decided to explore on this topic further. After detailed research I conducted this experiment to show the effect of the sanskrit hymns on human brainwaves on a computer, by conducting the EEG test. Pregnancy is considered as one of the most beautiful events in every female life which brings a lot of physiological and hormonal changes to prepare women for motherhood. Pregnant women should be responsible to support the health of the child. The aim of this study is to assess the effect of self instructional module on knowledge regarding minor ailments and its management during pregnancy among primigravidia mothers in selected hospitals of Mehsana district, Gujarat. Quantitative research method was used for this study. The research design adopted for this study is pre experimental one group pre test one group post design. Non ”“ probability convenient sampling test is used for collecting samples. The study was conducted after obtaining consent from the concerned authorities of the hospital and participants care giver. A tool was prepared to assess the effectiveness of self instructional module on minor ailments and its management during pregnancy. A total of 24 questionnaires were prepared to assess the knowledge of mothers. The data thus collected were analysed using differential and inferential statistics. The pre test mean score is 8.33 and post test is 14.18 . the ”˜t’ value is 13.28 . The study revealed that there is an inadequate knowledge regarding minor ailments in primigravidia mothers. It is proved that there is a significant improvement in the knowledge regarding minor ailments in primigravidia mothers. In South Asian languages with SOV word order as an aerial feature, a compound verb construction appears as V1 V2 where V1 is the main verb and V2 the light verb. The semantic content that a light verb has is a grammaticalised one, in a V V construction. The light verb usually contributes grammaticalised meanings, aspect aktionsart, speaker evaluation etc. The light verb has an independent lexical meaning when it occurs solely as a main verb. Light verbs are also called as Explicator verbs and Vector verbs. They are found in Compound Verb Constructions as a verb that modifies the main verb. The main verb is called as a Polar verb and the light verb is called as a Vector verb. Rural Health and hygiene is one of the major challenges that India is facing self help group members today. High mortality rates are subjected to deprived health facilities in the self help group members in rural areas of India. More than 70 of India’s population is living under the roof of rural setup. These poorly established houses experience not have of proper supply of water and electricity. They manage to get a little water from far away distant places in order to proceed with their daily activities. Apart from this, their situation is vulnerable because of require of education and public health awareness. The key challenges in lack of health awareness and limited access to health facilities. The present study has the objective to study the health and hygiene awareness among self help group members. The study was conducted on 60 self help group members of the Coimbatore district. Background Comfort eating is commonly reported in multiple countries. However, there is not much published scientific literature available about the same. The dearth of information in the Indian context on comfort eating prompted this work. Methods Female college students n=324 from Maharashtra, India were asked about the foods they associated with a sense of happiness, family childhood, stress relief, and positive and negative emotions after obtaining informed written consent. Results Participants listed 105 foods that provided them comfort, 61 traditional and 44 non traditional. The majority of students associated some foods with a feeling of happiness 98.5 and family and childhood 99.1 , preferring traditional foods more than non traditional foods. At least half the participants consumed comfort foods 1 2 times week, with traditional foods being consumed by more students than non traditional foods. More than half the students could not control eating certain foods 72.9 . More students found it difficult to control their intake of high fat and or high sugar, and high fat, high sodium foods. Overall, 44.7 n=144 reported that they felt guilty after consuming comfort foods. Among them, 29.8 felt guilty after consuming high fat, high sugar foods, 10.5 after high fat, high sodium, 38.0 after high fat, 12.2 after consuming high sugar foods and 9.5 after consuming low fat foods. Conclusion This study indicates that comfort eating appears to be prevalent in India. The results of the present study point out the need to work in this area and to pay particular attention to comfort food consumption among persons trying to lose weight, those who are under stress or are emotionally perturbed. The main goal of the current study is to investigate how conventional and institutional factors affect foreign direct investment in particular global emerging markets. The study specifically seeks to determine the impact of GDP Growth, Population Growth, Level of Inflation, Trade Openness, Voice and Accountability, Rule of Law, Control of Corruption, Political Stability, and Government Effectiveness which are institutional determinants on FDI Inflows towards the Global Emerging Markets. To approach the research question a panel regression analysis has been applied by leveraging annual data from 18 countries, namely Angola, Brazil, Chile, China, Colombia, Egypt, Ghana, India, Indonesia, Malaysia, Mexico, Nigeria, Peru, Philippines, Singapore, South Africa, South Korea and Vietnam. Electrospinning is a versatile and viable technique for generating ultrathin fibers. Remarkable progress has been made with regard to the development of electrospinning methods and engineering of electrospun nanofibers to suit or enable various applications. We aim to provide a comprehensive overview of electrospinning, including the principle, methods, materials, and applications. We begin with a brief introduction to the early history of electrospinning, followed by discussion of its principle and typical apparatus. We then discuss its renaissance over the past two decades as a powerful technology for the production of nanofibers with diversified compositions, structures, and properties. Afterward, we discuss the applications of electrospun nanofibers, including their use as ”œsmart” mats, filtration membranes, catalytic supports, energy harvesting conversion storage components, and photonic and electronic devices, as well as biomedical scaffolds. We highlight the most relevant and recent advances related to the applications of electrospun nanofibers by focusing on the most representative examples. We also offer perspectives on the challenges, opportunities, and new directions for future development. With non availability of the required equipment, teaching engineering drawing to a class of over 1000 students and retaining their interests and attention from the beginning to the end of a lecture period was of big concern to the engineering drawing courses lecturers in the Faculty of Engineering, Nnamdi Azikiwe University, Awka. This work is aimed at designing and developing animated Microsoft Office PowerPoint teaching applications named 2 D Computer Aided Drafting Applications 2 D CADA that eliminate this problem. This paper presents a sample of the Applications which demonstrates clearly to the audience’s pleasure how to mount, set and hold a drawing sheet on a drawing board before actual drawing commences. It also shows how to manually draw boarder lines on the drawing sheet. Similar programs can be written and used to show to engineering students how to manually draw most of the figures specified in their schools curricula using engineering drawing instruments. Many of this Application have been written on various topics in engineering drawing in line with the global trend of drudgery reduction in man machine systems. These Applications are already being deployed in teaching engineering drawing in the Faculty of Engineering, Nnamdi Azikiwe University, Awka, Nigeria. Bakery industry is the major food processing industry in India and stands second position in the manufacture of biscuits. Bakery products are the most popular food products consumed by all age groups. The demand for bakery products is increasing in day today life because of easy availability and ready to eat convenient products having better shelf life. Crackers are crisp baked products, chemically leavened or fermented. These are light in weight with longer shelf life. Crackers was produced from the mixture of chickpea and rolled oats and Spices Garlic paste, lemon juice, salt, oil, turmeric powder, chilli powder, oil and black pepper powder. at different combination. Proximate Analysis and sensory analysis were carried out on the crackers for their quality evaluation. The proximate analysis were determined using standard methods. From the result of proximate analysis, the moisture content is 1.37 . Also the other components of ash, fat, protein, carbohydrate and dietary fiber is 3.78 , 8.75g, 20.88g, 65.22g and 11.8 respectively. Sensory evaluation was done to know the acceptability of chickpea and rolled oats crackers. Sensory evaluation was done to know the acceptability of chickpea and oats crackers. It include colour, taste, flavour, texture, appearance and overall acceptability. The sample scored for overall acceptability i.e.8.7. The taste is rated highest scored i.e. 8.6. The purpose of the current study was the mental health and well being of IT professionals working night shifts. Mental health is a state of mental health that includes both subjective health and the ability to work effectively with others. Night shifts can cause a variety of problems for employees, from social isolation to disruptive sleep patterns that negatively impact health. Investigators chose a descriptive study design and therefore the sampling method chosen in this study was non probability sampling. Ayurveda the ancient Indian medical system, is based on ancient writings that rely on a ”œnatural” and holistic approach to physical and mental health. Ayurvedic medicine is one of the worlds oldest medical systems and remains one of Indias traditional health care systems. Any abnormality in Rituchakra menstrual rhythm leads excessive and irregular uterine bleeding which is known as Asrigdara in classical text. The intricate relationship between hypothalamus, pituitary, ovary and endometrial on one hand and the effect of psychology on hypothalamus vis a vis on pituitary and ovaries on the other, makes it difficult to pin point exact abnormality or the cause of the disease. These cases are then labeled as cases of DUB or Asrigdara. This paper provides a comprehensive governance regime for the extractive industries EI by addressing the interlocking challenges that their extraction and consumption create for the environment, security and justice. Since even though Cameroon is endowed with huge extractive resources, the EI of the country is laden with adverse social and environmental effects, weak transparency and accountability, and minimal economic benefits. As such, the first steps of the country toward good governance is to secure a political will and develop a better relationship between the various stakeholders. Despite some initiatives, the country still has a long way to go in the fight for transparency and accountability due to its closed and exclusory policy. Especially as the EI is an area that ignites expectations from the government, to manage and provide relevant information on the available resources and how they are utilised. With one of the most efficient ways of managing these expectations being to promote open, accountable and transparent governance of the EI, as well as how the revenues accrued are used. Since where openness and transparency in management is lacking, it might lead to ineffective socio economic development often referred to as a ”˜resource curse’ as the unmet expectations can result in conflicts. It is for this reason that the international community has attempted to provide best practices in the form of guidelines to aid the country to put in place and implement measures that can promote open, accountable, and transparent governance of the EI. With the most common initiative being the Extractive Industries Transparency Initiative EITI which is meant to promote governance and accountability in the EI. In this regard, the paper discusses how Cameroon, with its nascent EI can effectively implement the EITI standard. Since the implementation of EITI alongside, the domestic legislation governing the EI can enable it to escape the ”˜resource curse’ and enhance sustainable development. Nonetheless, although the paper did not capture all the factors that have affected the management of the EI in Cameroon, particularly the political economy dimension, which can be a valuable area to research at length. This study examined the implementations and challenges of international extradition law in the post Cold War Era p CWE with Africa as a focus. To achieve its specific objectives, historical research design was adopted and four research questions were raised to interrogate the qualitative data obtained in form of supportive literature, gleaned secondary sources such as textbooks, journal articles, newspaper articles, periodicals, internet materials, among others. The analysis of literature is focused on the extent to which the p CWE enhanced increase in extradition agreements in Africa, the role of the p CWE in enhancing the achievement or execution of international extradition laws in Africa, the challenges of implementation of extradition processes in Africa in the p CWE, and suggests ways these challenges confronting extradition processes in Africa in the p CWE could be resolved. Double Criminality theory was adopted as its theoretical framework. Study finds out among others that in spite of the role of p CWE in enhancing extradition processes in Africa, extradition processes is bedevilled by certain problems such as needless and unnecessary granting of asylum to reckless leaders granting of needless and unwarranted presidential pardons to family members and political associates and needless and unnecessary delays of extraditing individuals under the request of the requesting states occasioned by bureaucracy and differences in values and judicial systems. The study therefore recommends among others the need for African states to continue to have extradition agreements in order to check all forms of violations of the international humanitarian laws in Africa. Objectives The objective of this article is to review the impact of various factors on the occurrence of Adverse Drug Reactions ADRs . Summary ADRs can be caused by several factors, including patient related, drug related, and social factors. Age is a crucial factor in the occurrence of ADRs, with both very young and very old patients being more vulnerable than other age groups. Alcohol consumption also plays a significant role in ADRs. Other factors that affect ADRs include gender, race, pregnancy, breastfeeding, kidney problems, liver function, drug dose and frequency, and many others. This study ascertained the complementarity of equity and debt capital of quoted consumer goods companies in Nigeria from 2011 2021. Specifically, the study determined the effect of shareholders’ equity and total liabilities on return on assets, return on equity and earnings per share. Purposive sampling technique was employed to select fourteen 14 consumer goods companies from a population of twenty three 23 quoted consumer goods firms in Nigeria. Panel data were used in this study, which were obtained from the annual reports and accounts of sample firms for the periods 2011 2021. Ex Post Facto research design was employed. Descriptive statistics of the dataset from the sample firms were described using the mean, standard deviation, minimum and maximum values of the data for the study variables. Inferential statistics using Multicollinearity test, Pearson correlation coefficient and Panel least square regression analysis were applied to test the hypotheses of the study. The results showed that shareholders’ equity has a positive and significant effect on ROA, ROE and EPS respectively at 5 level of significance, while total liabilities has a negative and significant effect on ROA, ROE and EPS, however, significant at 5 level of significance. This study recommended amongst others that an appropriate mix of equity and debt capital should be adopted in order to increase the profitability of consumer goods firms. There is a perception that SMEs in Nigeria tends to lack skills and knowledge needed to run their businesses profitably. This also tend to have direct impact on the financial performance of SMEs as the small business owners may not be proficient in financial education. This paper examined the role of financial literacy in enhancing the financial performance of SMEs among selected firms in Lagos State. In order to achieve the objective of this paper, some research questions were raised and hypotheses formulated. Various literatures relating to financial literacy and financial performance were reviewed in ordered to establish a relationship between the two constructs under investigations. The study made used of primary data sourced from questionnaires administered to respondents. The research design adopted was survey research design and correlational research design. Three hundred and eighty four SMEs firms were selected from the twenty local government councils in Lagos State. The ordinary least square regression technique was used to analyze the role of financial literacy in enhancing the financial performance of SMEs. The result of the analysis revealed that a relationship exist between financial literacy and financial performance. The study further revealed that SMEs in Lagos State are lacking in financial education poor in financial knowledge weak in cash flow management lack financial discipline amongst others. It is therefore concluded that lack of financial literacy have undermined the financial performance of SMEs in Lagos State in particular and Nigeria in general. The main aim of this study is to investigate empirically the relationship between integrated payroll system and expenditure in Bayelsa State MDAs, data were collected through primary and secondary sources. The secondary was collected from annual reports of Bayelsa government, Nigeria and survey data were obtained from respondents using questionnaire shown to have a reliability coefficient of 0.90. Descriptive and ordinary least square regression statistical techniques is used in analyzing the data with the aid of special pack for social sciences SPSS version 21. The study findings revealed that there exist a positive and strong relationship between integrated payroll system and personnel cost and overhead cost. We conclude that the exist a significant relationship between Integrated payroll system and recurrent expenditure and recommend that all staff civil servant should be paid through bank and not by cash to prevent double hiring Payroll presentation for all state civil servants should be centralized in the state treasury Individual staff records showed centrally and safely kept with relevant accounting packages. Health is one of the critical human capital components which has significant contribution in the development of nation. The health condition has been measured with special reference to health facilities and health infrastructure which contribute significantly for the progress and benefit of society. Many academics throughout the world have been interested in the use of artificial sand in concrete. The growing demand for fine aggregate for the needs of building is greater than the supply of limited natural sand that is currently available. It is suggested that the physical characteristics of naturally occurring river sand and synthetic sand be compared M sand . The M30, M40, and M50 mixtures were the subjects of the current study. By varying the relative amount of M sand from 0 to 100 , the modulus of elasticity MOE was assessed. The abovementioned mixes were also tested for sorptivity and impact resistance to determine the ideal percentage of manufactured sand. Moreover, microscopic analyses using electron dispersive spectroscopy EDS and scanning electron microscopy SEM were carried out. With an increase in mix grade, MOE and resistance to impact loading both improved. Yet, as concrete grade and M sand content increased, sorptivity was found to decrease. Also, a comparison between experimental MOE values and IS code results was done. According to microscopic investigations, M sand has an angular and rough surface in comparison to natural sand, which is thought to be the cause of the materials improved MOE and impact resistance as well as its decreased sorptivity. It raises security issues because encryption is currently the greatest method for avoiding data leakage. A promising method among these is public key encryption with keyword search PKSE , which allows users to quickly search through encrypted data files. The client first generates a search token when to query data files, The cloud server uses the search token to proceed the query over encrypted data files. Diabetic Retinopathy, the most common reason of vision loss, is caused by damage to the small blood vessels in the retina. If untreated, it may result in varying degrees of vision loss and even blindness. Since Diabetic Retinopathy is a silent disease that may cause no symptoms or only mild vision problems, annual eye exams are crucial for early detection to improve the chances of effective treatment where fundus cameras are used to capture the retinal images. However, fundus cameras are too big and heavy to be transported easily and too costly to be purchased by every health clinic, so fundus cameras are an inconvenient tool for widespread screening. Recent technological developments have enabled using smartphones in designing small sized, low power, and affordable retinal imaging systems to perform Diabetic Retinopathy screening and automated Diabetic Retinopathy detection using machine learning and image processing methods. The aim of this study is to formulate and significantly improve the bioavailability and reduce the side effects of immediate release tablets Capecitabine. The precompression blends of Capecitabine were characterized with respect to angle of repose, bulk density, tapped density, Carr’s index and Hausner’s ratio. The precompression blend of all the batches indicates good to fair flowability and compressibility. Immediate release tablets were prepared with various disintegrants like PEG 6000, Croscarmellose sodium and Sodium starch glycolate at different concentration ratios and were compressed into tablets. The formulated tablets were evaluated for various quality control parameters. The tablets were passed all tests. Among all the formulations F7 formulation containing, drug and Croscarmellose sodium showed good result that is 98.12 in 45 min. Aim This study aims to assess selected listed cement companies in India in terms of specific valuation parameters. Methodology Approach The study uses secondary sources of data collected. The data period ranged from 2017 2018 to 2021 2022. The various tools and techniques used are Valuation metrics analysis. Enterprise Value EV , EV Net Operating Revenue, EV EBITDA and P E Ratio and Descriptive statistics Mean, Standard Deviation SD , Coefficient of Variation CV and Compound Annual Growth Rate CAGR . Summary The study found that UltraTech Cements Ltd. is the most valued company in terms of enterprise value. Shree Cements Ltd. commanded the highest P E ratio as well as higher valuation for EV Net Operating Revenue and EV EBITDA parameter among them all. ACC Ltd. Heidelberg Cement India Ltd. ranked lower in terms of total enterprise value, EV Net Operating Revenue, and EV EBITDA parameter among them all. While Heidelberg Cement India Ltd. commanded lowest mean P E ratio. Barring the variance in price to earnings data Ambuja Cements Ltd. witnessed high variability measured in terms of CV across the metrics of EV, EV Net Operating Revenue and EV EBITDA. The study investigated test anxiety as a predictor of secondary school students’ achievement in computer studies. Two research questions guided the study and two hypotheses were tested at 0.05 level of significance. Correlation design was adopted for the study. The population of the study was 11, 789 senior secondary year two SS2 students offering Computer studies in Delta North Senatorial district of Delta state. A sample of 600 students obtained using multi stage sampling procedure was involved in the study. The instrument for data collection was Test Anxiety Questionnaire TAQ validated by lecturers in Departments of Science Education and Educational Foundations, from Nnamdi Azikiwe University, Awka. The reliability of the instruments were established using Cronbach Alpha which yielded coefficient values of 0.77. Data were generated for the study through the administration of the instruments with the aid of five research assistants. The data obtained were analyzed using simple and multiple linear regressions. The findings of the study revealed that 0.6 of the variance in computer studies achievement was predicted by students’ test anxiety. Also, achievement in computer studies was significantly predicted by test anxiety. It was recommended that school teachers should ensure to cover the scheme of work at the appropriate time, to enable students study them in sequential order and in a way that will enable prepare for test. Demographic changes have long been assumed to affect investment decisions. Little is known about the effectiveness of average age on capital investment. This study, therefore, sort to establish the efficacy of average age on capital investment as a percentage of GDP. The study used secondary data sources from the public website. Data analysis via SPSS utilized Pearsons correlation analysis, Analysis of Variance, and regression analysis. Pearsons correlation values is obtained as 0.294. ANOVA test revealed that F statistics was 9.735 and is higher than F critical, suggesting that average age is statistically significant in predicting capital investment. Regression analysis indicated that coefficient value is 15.074. The study concludes that average age negatively influence capital investment and is useful in predicting capital investment in Kenya. The study adopted survey research design since it involves distribution of questionnaire to the target respondents. The population of the study comprised of branches of pharmaceutical firms in South East State, Nigeria. Regression analysis was used to analyzed the data and test the formulated hypotheses with the aid of SPSS version 20. 0. at 5 level of significance. Based on the analysis of the data, the summary of the findings were that inventory resource management and project resource management have a significant positive effect on sustainable development in pharmaceutical firms in South East State, Nigeria. Based on the findings, the study concludes that resource management has a positive and statistically significant effect on sustainable development in Nigerian pharmaceutical firms. This research determined the level of parental involvement on Special Education students learning using Modular Distance Learning during the school year 2021 2022 at Luray II National High School, Toledo City Division. This study employed the descriptive correlational method to gather data on the parental involvement of students with special educational needs. Thirty parents who have children with special needs were assessed in this study and majority of the parents are aged 40 49 years old, females, married, highs school graduates, earned less than 10,000 temporary or contractual workers and whose children have hard of hearing. The study concluded that parents are moderately involved in sustaining motivation and coaching and tutoring. They are also highly involved in school based activities and home school conferencing. Findings of this study also shows that parental involvement is consistently found to be positively associated with gender, highest educational attainment, and combined family monthly income. With this, school administrators must conduct capability building for parents to strengthen their involvement in school especially in their child’s education. Ethiopia has the highest rate of gender based violence GBV in sub Saharan Africa Mingude and Dejene, 2021 . Females make up 92 of GBV cases Kassa and Abajobir, 2020 . This poses a significant threat to the well being of girls and women in Ethiopia from a physical and psychological standpoint. A scoping review was conducted on the reported factors contributing to GBV in Ethiopia. Four databases were used OVID Medline, Scopus, Web of Science, and CINAHL. Of the 220 studies initially identified, 53 were ultimately included. It is important to address this topic because high rates of GBV result in an inequitable society. As well, a community as a whole cannot thrive when a significant portion of its members live in fear of GBV. After reviewing the available literature, the key factors contributing to GBV identified were a history of witnessing parental violence culture education level income level location of residence alcohol and substance abuse and employment status. Over the past two decades, the Indian economy has experienced a significant expansion in its financial market due to liberalization, privatization, and globalization, leading to a wide range of financial products and investment alternatives. However, it is crucial to note that having proper knowledge about financial behavior is essential. Limited financial literacy among individuals can hinder their ability to make informed financial decisions, underscoring the importance of improving financial literacy rates in India, particularly among women and young people, to enable them to manage their savings efficiently. The pandemic has highlighted the significance of financial literacy in times of global crises and high unemployment rates. This study aims to explore the relationship between financial literacy and financial resilience and determine the current level of financial literacy in India through a literature based study. Data were collected from various secondary sources such as research papers, articles, journals, and official websites. This paper emphasizes the need for comprehensive knowledge of financial literacy and other related concepts to manage even small finances and overcome financial difficulties, particularly during the ongoing pandemic. The authors highlight the low level of financial literacy in India and suggest that financial literacy education should be introduced at the school level, with the implementation of various national level programs through innovative initiatives to raise awareness about financial literacy. For effective design and good construction practises of multistory buildings, numerous prior studies have been conducted. When an earthquake strikes a palace, seismic stresses are produced at the buildings floor level. A variety of structure damage was seen after the earthquake. This study was conducted in seismic zone IV. In this work, we examine how tall structures with and without floating columns behave seismically. There are various situations in multistory buildings when it may be difficult to place a column in a certain spot.This study compares two multistory buildings, one of which supports its columns directly from the ground, and the other of which has floating columns in various locations. We prepared the model for the same height, the same plan, and the same loading condition for this analysis using the Staad Pro software. We are using an 11 story building with a 33.8 meter overall height and a layout that measures 18.92 by 19.78 metres for our analysis. There are 50 columns in the building, and 12 of them are supported by ground floor beams rather than the ground.These columns are termed as floating columns. We are providing a shear panels in those locations where the columns are supported. This shear wall transfers the load coming from the floating columns to the wall supporting columns. By considering these conditions we analysis both structures and find out the results of using floating columns in the same building. In this analysis to comparison of behavior of tall buildings using with and without floating column is concluded on parameters maximum beam moment, maximum beam shear and maximum nodal deflection and volume of concrete and volume of steel . Nurses are people who need self assessment to maintain and improve their practice by identifying their strengths and weakness in the areas that may need to be further developed. A non experimental study was conducted to assess the usage of mobile phone and attitude regarding mobile phone usage among B.sc nursing students in selected nursing college in Chennai.
